Westpac Foundation's Community Grants

Community Grants are $10,000 each and also include non-financial support via Westpac’s ‘More than Money’ program, helping to maximise the social impact and sustainability of grantees.

Dreams for a Better World – Sunsuper 

Sunsuper's Dreams for a Better World program is all about partnering with those who dream big and do good to improve the lives of other Australians and thir community, and they have $150,000 in grants to help make it happen.

Since 2011, Sunsuper's Dream for a Better World program has been suporting community development programs and partnering with not-for profit organisations that help bring lasting and positive change to the lives of many Australians.  They've expanded the program so that community-minded small businesses can also apply for a grant and help tacle a local or social issue in their community.

Aspirations4Kids In Sport

Aspirations4Kids in Sport assists Queensland school students between the ages of 10-19 years who are in need, so they can play their chosen sport.

This means:

  • Families of students facing Financial Hardship i.e. the nominees family must hold a current:
    • Low income Health Care Card,
    • Concessions Card, or
    • Foster Health Care Card.
  • Families of students facing Financial Hardship due to the remoteness of their residential address
  • students who have a recognised and / or diagnosed disability or chronic illness.
  • Families facing an impactful short term circumstance and needing a one off Hand Up funding assistance.
  • An A$K Scholarship i.e.longer term funding to support a student in need with their sporting career.  Please note - Only one Scholarship funded annually.


Gambling Community Benefit Fund

Gambling Community Benefit Fund is a Queensland Government grant from the Department of Justice and Attorney General. 

Not-for-profit groups operating in Queensland can apply for grants from $500 to $35,000 throught the GCBF. This fund is Queensland's largest one-off community grants program, distributing approximately $57 million per year.

The fund allocates grants to not-for-profit community groups, to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities.



Mount Isa Mines Community Assistance Program

The Community Assistance Program helps us develop partnerships with local community organisations, across three key areas: Capacity building - including education and training, enterprise development and economic diversification; Health - to support the delivery of essential health and community services; and Environment - to support programs focussed on the protection of environmental values.

This program calls for applications on a quarterly basis and four rounds of funding will be distributed to the community in January, April, July and october each year.



Glencore Community Program North Queensland

Applications are called once per year and close on 30 September each year.
